Selank Amidate is the amidated form of Selank, a synthetic heptapeptide analog of the naturally occurring immunomodulatory peptide tuftsin (a tetrapeptide produced by splenic cleavage of IgG). Developed at the Institute of Molecular Genetics of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Selank has been extensively researched for both its anxiolytic (anti-anxiety) and nootropic (cognitive-enhancing) properties. The amidate modification protects the C-terminus from enzymatic degradation, significantly improving stability and bioavailability.
